Azul ... The Orange Tailed Damsel

(Azul is no longer with us. He proved too agressive for our now peaceful aquarium. He was taken back to the local fish store on Feb 19th, 2005.)
Well...we originally named this fiesty guy 'Vivi', since it's colors were SO vivid.
But we forgot to include Kayla in naming of the fish. So we had to change it. So now this little brat's name is now Azul. (which is a pretty and original name, if you forget that it's spanish for blue).
When you first look at the tank, it's THIS guy that sticks out. He's such a bright blue, that at times, he appears to be a source of light himself.
When we bought him, I'd brought him home, and was putting him in the tank. I looked at him, and asked Tammy if that was the same fish we'd picked out in the store...as it was gray, and dull. Tammy was just about to ask me the same thing when *BING* like a light switch, he instantly turned from gray to bright blue. We both just stood there jaw's dropped. As a result, our initial feelings were of fascination
A Week later? Our feelings were of frustration. While gorgeous to look at, this fish is somewhat of a bully, and I wouldn't be suprised if we had to get rid of him soon. Just proof that you shouldn't get a fish, just 'cause it's pretty!Anyways...
Added to the tank on February 2nd, 2005 from
Congressional Aquarium.
Age unknown
While this isn't a typical pose, it is indicative of his personality. Quite a nice shot.

Need to work on getting better color in the shots, but here he is going to...

and here he is going fro...
